The Bigg Boss house is located in the tourist place of Lonavla, Pune district of Maharashtra. But only the house for the Bigg Boss fifth season was located at ND Studios in Karjat. This house is well-furnished and decorated which is having all kinds of modern amenities. This house may have only one or two bedrooms and four toilet bathrooms, garden, pool, activity area and gym only. Apart from this, a Confession Room is also present where the housemates and Bigg Boss conversation will be going on for the nomination process or anything else. The Bigg Boss House has no TV connection, no telephones, no Internet connection, clocks, pen or paper. There are total 15 weeks and each week brings nomination and elimination process. All the housemates nominate two of their inmates for eviction, and the inmates would face a public vote to get safe or elimination.

They are not permitted to use any other language inside the Bigg Boss house.
